Updated 6th September 2013

Liam Cameron is aiming to give his “best performance to date” on the Kid Galahad undercard at the Magna Centre, Saturday 14th September.

The 22-year-old Sheffield middleweight has been training hard and is eager to get back in the ring.

“I can’t wait for it, training is going well – I’ve been training for it a while now so I’m looking to give my best performance to date,” Cameron said.

“I’m still developing, my diet is good and I’m on it and that’s what it’s about.”

In 2009 Cameron became Sheffield’s first ABA welterweight champion since Henry Hall in 1944 and won three national British titles before turning professional.

As a pro Liam boasts an impressive 14 wins with five knockouts and is now targeting a first professional title by the end of the year.

“By the end of the year I’d like a belt around my waist, probably an English title or something like that ,” Cameron said.

“I don’t think I’m far from that level , it’s just that little step that I’ve got to do and in this fight I’ll prove that I’ve taken that step.”

Cameron fights on the Kid Galahad vs Jazza Dickens undercard at the Magna Centre, Rotherham on Saturday 14th Septmeber.

The Hennessy Sports show also features the hot middleweight prospect Chris Eubank Jr and young heavyweight star Hughie Lewis Fury, live on Channel 5 from 8pm.

Tickets are priced from £30 and are still available to buy from the Hennessy Sports Box Office on 01925 755 222 or online at http://hennessy.ticketline.co.uk or alternatively by contacting Tickeline.co.uk online and by phone on 0844 888 4402 or via Ticketmaster.co.uk online or by phone on 0844 847 2500.

The 6’2” light middleweight feels he is the “fittest” he’s been and can’t wait for fight night.

“I want to look good in front of my fans and put on a good show for them - hopefully I’ll deliver a knockout,” Tom said.

“I’m delighted to be on the card, it’s close to Sheffield, it’s one of my best friends who’s topping the bill, all my friends are on it and I can’t wait.”

Tom, who boasts three straight wins as a professional is aiming at making his fourth fight the best one yet.

“I’m not nervous at all, I’m really calm, I’m getting brilliant sparring and I’m probably the fittest I’ve ever been,” Tom said.

“I’m trying to get that big knockout for the fourth fight, so hopefully it will come.”

“My levels are just increasing every time I’m boxing – I’m just getting myself straight back in the gym and I’m improving all the time, I can’t wait.”

Jordan Gill

Jordan ‘The Thrill’ Gill is “feeling brilliant” and ready to give a “big performance” at the Magna Centre on the Kid Galahad undercard, Saturday 14th September.

The 19-year-old is “raring” to get in there and hopes to deliver a “big stoppage”.

“I’m feeling brilliant, training is going great, I feel in the shape of my life – I’m ready and raring to go,” Jordan said

“I’m 100%, I feel strong as an ox and I’m going to go out and smash somebody for four rounds.

“I’ve been developing different shots, new combinations; fast flurries not just single shots - there’s going to be some good foot movement, maybe a little showboating, but hopefully a big stoppage in maybe the third or fourth round.”

The young super featherweight from Chatteris has won all six of his professional contests to date and is hoping to reward his faithful fans with a stand out performance.

“I always get brilliant support from Chatteris and I thank all my fans massively because they follow me wherever I go whether it be Peterborough, Bluewater, Sheffield,” Jordan said.

“Wherever I go they’re there and they’re shouting for me and that’s what keeps me going and hopefully on the 14th I can reward them with a big performance.”

Muheeb Fazeldin

Muheeb Fazeldin feels he is in “the best shape” of his career ahead of his rematch with gym mate Leo D’Erlanger at the Magna Centre on the Kid Galahad undercard, Saturday 14th September.

The 20-year-old bantamweight is eager  “buzzing” and ready to give his “best” performance.

“I’m buzzing, it’s such a good show to be on, it will be such a good atmosphere and I’m loving it,” Muheeb said.

“This time in the rematch it’s going to be a win for me, guaranteed, absolutely.

“I didn’t feel myself last time but this time it’s at my weight, I’m feeling comfortable and I’m a different animal this time – speed, accuracy and power will be too much.”

In the last contest, the Ingle Gym trained pair met at Glow, Bluewater on the James DeGale MBE bill in June, where after four hard rounds the fight was announced as a draw.

Now, Muheeb is ready to prove beyond doubt he is the better fighter.

“There are no hard feelings, but I need the win so I can move on to bigger and better things – I want to bring more titles to the Ingle Gym,” Muheeb said.

“For this fight I’ve done the best training – I’ve been dieting properly, drinking lots of water – training twice a day with Dominic

“Doing run, sprints, hill running, treadmill and even a bit of weights, so I feel in really good shape - fitness wise I’m in the best shape of my career and all my fans can expect a flashy performance – out of all my fights so far this is going to be my best one.”

Leo D'Erlanger

Leo D’Erlanger guarantees “explosive” performance ahead of his rematch with gym mate Muheeb Fazeldin at the Magna Centre, Rotherham, on the Kid Galahad undercard, Saturday 14th September.

Leo D’Erlanger guarantees “explosive” performance ahead of his rematch with gym mate Muheeb Fazeldin at the Magna Centre, Rotherham, on the Kid Galahad undercard, Saturday 14th September.

The 5’8” lightweight says he is “training hard” and “can’t wait” to set the record straight.

“I can’t wait, it can’t come soon enough, I’m training hard and I feel great,” Leo said.

“I’m working on new things all the time, so I can’t wait to get it on - it will be explosive.

“I don’t want to give away too much, so you’ve just got to get yourselves down there and see what happens.”

When the Ingle Gym trained pair first met at Glow, Bluewater on the James DeGale MBE bill in June, the contest was declared a draw, but Leo felt he had done enough to win the fight.

Now the 30-year-old Banbury man is out to set the record straight and show he is the better man.

“I thought I won the first time, I thought I landed the better shots, so this time I’m going to beat him better - but I thought I’d done enough.”

D'Erlanger fights on the Kid Galahad vs Jazza Dickens undercard at the Magna Centre,Rotherham on Saturday 14th September.
